Agnes Veski created her jewelry brand Agnes Veski Jewelry in 2018. After high school, she studied jewelry art at Estonian Academy of Arts. Agnes Veski Jewelry is inspired by Estonian and nordic nature, using traditional goldsmith technology as well as metal finishing techniques. The MOSSI series originates from lichens using millennia-old technology. ”I pick up some piece of moss from nature that I like and dip it in wax to keep the shape. Then the piece goes into the oven and the moss burns out.” She pours silver into the remaining negative and this is how the unique MOSSI series is made.

The SPRING series also gets inspiration from nature – Agnes Veski uses different forms of plants, such as snowdrops and blue flowers. The KÕIV jewelry series is inspired by birch bark – the shape of the items is the same, but the pattern is different on each piece. “It’s an organic process that can’t be controlled and you never know what the outcome might be.” All the jewelry is handmade.
