Sudd knit

Sudd knit by Liisa Kanemägi is not your typical distressed sweater. It will slightly unravel over time, much like life itself. The holes reflect where sweat marks naturally appear, evolving from my earlier art project of sweat-reactive garments. These changes celebrate the beauty of flux and the human body´s material reality. Embrace the unraveling. Handmade in Estonia: Crafted from premium quality yarn. Sustainable Craftsmanship: Made using a fully-fashioned knitting method, which means very low waste. Signature one-of-a-kind knit. Material: 71 fine alpaca, 28 polyamide, 1 elastane - polyamide and elastane are here for a reason - polyamide enhances the strength and longevity of the knit, while elastane provides flexibility and ensures the sweater maintains its fit over time. Polyamide is also particularly important in the production of fluffy mohair yarn, as it acts as a support thread that holds the delicate fibers together. Care Instructions: hand wash or dry clean; iron on low temperature.
