Bag Nordic Shapeshifter

Stella Soomlais Nordic Shapeshifter is a small leather bag that transforms to suit the way you want to carry it. Inspired by the shapeshifters of Nordic folklore, its clever strap system allows it to be worn as a handbag, waist bag, evening bag, shoulder bag or wallet. The removed straps can also be used as a wrist strap or belt. The bag has room for cash, a phone, keys and lipstick. Optional card holders can be added, as well as a zipped coin pocket on the back. The bag measures 19 × 11 × 3 cm. The shoulder strap is 130 cm long and 1.2 cm wide. Nordic Shapeshifter is made in Tallinn at Stella Soomlais’ studio in Telliskivi Creative City. The name of the maker is marked inside every bag. Our products combine functionality with minimalist design and follow the principles of our Round 2 circular design system, where materials are used thoughtfully and cutting waste is given a new purpose. The bag is made from vegetable-tanned leather, a durable and long-lasting material. To preserve its appearance, avoid overfilling the bag and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures. If it gets wet, let it dry naturally at room temperature. We recommend bringing the bag to our studio for professional maintenance after 10–12 months of use.
